Hello from Prague. We've safely made it pass the midway point in our journey. It's been one big adventure so far. Today we went sight seeing around Prague. Of note we made it to the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. One quick story from Prague Castle...
Prague Castle is one of the largest castles in the world. It's positioned high atop a hill, a good place to mount a defense against invading armies. One of the tour items allowed us to fire a crossbow (Yes, a real live freakin crossbow, how cool is that?) at a target. Suffice it to say it was awesome, although judging from the results, Everly kicked Matt's arse. The next time Matt won't make jokes when Everly has a crossbow in hand. Pictures will be posted soon.
So long for now...

Day 1 - Paris Pictures
Goodbye Paris, Hello Champagne!
It's about 3:30PM and we've just arrived at our hostel in Reims, France. This morning we went to the Moet Chandon Winery in Epernay, France. A little refresher on those little bubbles.
Champagne is not just sparkling wine. The grapes are grown and the wine is made in the Champagne region of France (East of Paris). There is French laws against calling any sparkling wine grown outside of the Champagne region.
Pictures are in my camera still but I'll unload them tonight.

Free Municipal Internet = Crappy Wireless
Hi folks. Everly and I are slipping on updating this blog. We have been having tons of fun and seen much of the city. We have a ton of pictures to upload. The only problem is that the internet at the hostel (CISP - Kellerman) is through the Paris Muncipal Government. It's cool that they offer free wireless but its difficult since its only operational 7AM - 11PM. Even then, the connection keeps dropping after a few minutes. It's getting to be unbearable that we're thinking of just hopping over to an internet cafe for a little bit and just paying a few euro for a stable connection. Anyways, more info to come.

We Made It to Paris!
We made it safely to Paris. It was quite an adventure to get to the hostel. We got in around 9:30ish this morning but due to our moderate pacing and being our tourist we finally made it in to the hostel around 2 PM.
Ridiculous? Yes.
Adventure Fact #1 - Figuring out how to get out of the airport was an adventure. We felt a bit sheepish that we had to ask the information person how to get to the train... twice.
Adventure Fact #2 - The train station at "Nord" something or other is nice. We should know since we were stuck there trying to find out how to buy stupid metro passes. We finally find the booth to buy it at and then we end up needing photos! The real adventure is trying to comprehend the massive transit system they have in Paris for the first time. It's really awesome how there's a train going everywhere practically at anytime. We needed some time to get our bearings and then we we're off.
Pictures of our first day in Paris as well as more stories from the road to come.

Day 0 - Still Packing
Yes, its 1:00 AM and our flight is in 7 hours 30 min and of course like the procrastinators we are we are still somewhat packing. Doesn't matter we're in for a long plane flight anyways. I can honestly say that the adrenaline and anticipation are carrying us right now. We're in for a long day tomorrow and hopefully the long plane flight will allow us enough time to recover. Hows that for our first Eurotrip blog post?
